Along with Vettriano,
I’m always on the beach…
an amateur philosopher with
a long brimmed hat in hand –
always finally coming home,
to an upturned leg and lips,
a warm embrace to melt the trace,
of ‘maybes’ now remised .
Along with Vettriano,
I dance in ocean tides
and swim along the rim of heaven
while moonbeams pass me by.
